Pantomime Comes to Halifax Borough Market

As part of the Christmas celebrations in 2021, stall holders were invited to dress up as their favourite pantomime characters.

Dressing as Hansel and Gretel, the shop was also decorated as the witch's cottage, covered in candy canes, and with icicles and snow adorning the roof.

Giant inflatable gingerbread men, affectionately known as 'Gingey' and 'Bready', were also huge stars and popular with shoppers!

Children were also invited to take part in a Christmas colouring competition with the winners drawn just before the big day.
